Learning about yourself on the internet: Personality Test

Learning about yourself on the internet.
Self-knowledge. (=) Knowledge of Self.
Part 2
Personality Type
Warm-up Discussion:
First, discuss these questions with your partner:

What is "personality type"?
What personality types are there?
What personality type is best? Is one personality type better than another?
What do you know about your own "personality type"?
Are your friends the same personality type as you?
Is it easier to get along if you are the same type, or if you are complementary types?
Are the members of your family the same personality type as you?
Do you think it is possible to change your personality type?

Discuss these and record your answer and your partner's answer.

After you write your answers from your discussion there, you are ready to take a psychological test!

Internet Action Research:
Here is one in Japanese! Easy! The results are in English, though.Choose one answer for each question.
Keirsey Temperament Sorter II (Japanese version)
http://keirsey.com/japanese/japanese.html
There are 70 questions. It takes about 15 minutes to complete. After you answer all of the questions, click the “score test” button on the bottom of the page. You will then go to a result page which will say
"Keirsey Temperament Sorter II Results"
"Your Temperament is " (CLICK ON THE LINK HERE FIRST!)
"Your variant temperament is "
(COME BACK AND CLICK ON THE LINK HERE AFTER THE OTHER LINK!)
The result will be a word that indicates a basic type, such as Artisan, Idealist, Rational, or Guardian. When you click on that word, you will go to a page that has the 4 sub-types of that type. Therefore, this test finds 16 different types of personalities. There are pictures and examples of the 4 types. Below that is a description. Read the description and try to understand what it says about you. Do you think it is accurate? You can click the BACK button to go back to the previous page and click after “Your Variant Temperament is…” This result is very interesting. Read that. Translate into Japanese if you want to.If you are curious, you can read more about this test here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiersey_Temperament_Sorter

Second choice:
Humanmetrics Jung Test
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
This one is in English. There are 72 yes/no question. Answer and click SCORE IT.You will go to a page that will link you to 2 expert’s explanations: one is by Keirsey, and one is by Mr Joe Butt. Joe Butt gives a lot of information, such as how you can get along with other types of people. There is also a marriage test, so you can see if you are compatible with another person (or if you will fight)!

Reflection and Writing:
Now, write about it. What do you think about the result? Do you think it is an accurate result? This test is said to be accurate 75% of the time, so it is wrong 25% of the time. Write about either test, or both, if you have the time to do both! Do not copy and do not write a machine-translation. (100-150 words.) You can write your findings on your blog. If you can write your findings on your blog. If you don't want to do that your blog. If you don't want to do that, write them on the paper or as an e-mail.
